I am happy

He came,
I asked him what he had
for last night's dinner?
He said,
A salted egg plus
Rice.
I asked him what he had
for today's lunch?
He said,
Water added to rice left over last night's plus
preserved lettuce.
I said I am sorry.
He said,
I am happy.
